Author
Christos Christovasilis
Greek politician and writer (1862–1937)
Their life
Christos Christovasilis (Greek: Χρήστος Χρηστοβασίλης) was a Greek journalist and author. The source gives his dates as c. 12 March 1861 to 26 August 1937, so his birth year is 1861 rather than 1862.
He is described as a representative of Greek pastoral literature. He also collected rural and folk material, which connects his writing to the everyday life and traditions of the countryside.
The source identifies him as one of the most important figures in the literature of Epirus in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It does not give his birthplace or place of death, so this account does not include them.
