Left and right steer; up goes faster, down slower. Hold Space or Z to fire, or turn on auto-fire (🔫). X drops oil or smoke behind you, C fires a missile. M turns the music on or off, P pauses, F goes full screen. On a phone, drag sideways to steer and up or down to change speed.

• Stay on the road: over the edge or into the middle strip, and the car is wrecked. Driving earns points all the time; the faster, the more.
• The Syndicate's cars come up from behind. Blades (blue) slash your tires if they get alongside; Gunners (black) shoot from ahead; Rams (grey, armoured) shove you off the road and shrug off bullets. Push them off the road, or shoot them.
• Don't hurt the civilians: wreck one and your score stops counting for a few seconds.
• Now and then Hephaestus's weapons van comes by: drive up into the back of it and it gives you oil slicks, a smoke screen or missiles. Only a missile can bring down the Harpy, the helicopter that drops bombs where you're heading.
• Cars are free for the first ninety seconds; after that you have three, and one more every 15,000 points. The road crosses bridges and splits around islands, turns into a river (your car becomes a boat), and night falls now and then.

Blades 500, Gunners 700, Rams 1,000, the Harpy 1,500; on the river, Sea Blades 500, mine boats 800 and each mine 50.
