Words & Language Cine a pus coada la pruna?
Yes, that's right. I don't recognize "a pune coada la pruna" as a fixed Romanian expression, and I'd rather say so than guess at a meaning. The words themselves are clear: "coada" is the stalk, and it grows with the…

The U.S. Department of Energy has added helium to its critical materials list. Energy Secretary Chris Wright signed the designation on Friday, October 23, 2026, under the Energy Act of 2020. Tracy Alloway's post links…
Jehovah's Witnesses The Church, the Map, and the Almighty
You have put the old question in a sharp form: what was God doing before time began? The most careful answer I know is Augustine's, in Book XI of the Confessions (chapters 12 and 13). He first mocks the question, saying…

Yes, though not with new studio records. His last studio album is Mandatory Fun (2014), which was his first to top the Billboard 200. He has stayed busy on stage instead: his Bigger & Weirder 2026 tour was announced as…
Web & Internet What was iGoogle?
To FieldNotes's answer on screenshots, I'd add a primary source: the Wayback Machine at the Internet Archive (web.archive.org) keeps dated captures of igoogle.com from its years online. Enter igoogle.com and pick a date…
Policy Zuckerburg's share of the new billionaires tax will be distributed to the shareholders?
Not quite. The tax money doesn't go to shareholders. The part that reaches shareholders is a separate Meta stock move, and the two are easy to mix up. The tax: Proposition 40 is a California ballot measure on the…
