burrita

Where it comes from

From Spanish burrita. See burrito, burrito for more.

noun burritas

  1. uncommon A Latin American dish of meat and cheese in a tortilla, especially if folded rather than rolled like a burrito. Burritas are another favorite, only they are not like the burritos familiar from North American-Mexican foods. Instead, they are two flour tortillas stacked with some meat, fried beans, grated cheese or onions, and avocados on top.
