Where it comes from
From inherit + -ee.
noun inheritees

- One who is inherited from; an ancestor. It is a rule, that if an inheritee’s right of property in any thing be proven, still a decree cannot pass in favour of the heirs, until proof be adduced of the death of the inheritee.
