intercourser
Where it comes from
From intercourse + -er.
noun intercoursers
- Someone or something that engages in social or business intercourse. When Congress in March 1809 abandoned the complete embargo and partial non-importation, and sub- stituted a complete ban on commercial intercourse with the French and British Empires, Schenck seized twenty intercoursers in 1809, and twenty-three in 1810.
- Someone who has sexual intercourse. Thus, though he went with a procession of women, his behavior with them led him to see that "I am not an intercourser," a phrase which he then wore out until it lost its meaning
