no-crime

verb no-crimes · no-criming · no-crimed · no crime

  1. UK To determine that an alleged crime, especially a sexual assault or rape, should not be prosecuted as a crime (e.g. because the victim has withdrawn their complaint). Nevertheless, if the recommendations of the Working Party had been strictly observed, no reported cases in 1986 should have been 'no-crimed' on the basis of the victim withdrawing her complaint.
