What were their names?
The reports name the man as Levi Benito DeLena and the victim as Candice Joelle Malave DeLena, his estranged wife and the mother of three daughters. KOIN spells his name "Levi Delena" and KATU uses "Candice Delena," while the Columbia Gorge News gives the full names from the trial. A jury found him guilty of murder on Sept. 21, and the sentence followed. The killing happened on May 15 at the White Cap Apartments in Stevenson, Washington.
