Matt Wallace@MattWallace888𝕏🚨 THE 4TH PLANE IN THE LAST 48 HOURS JUST MYSTERIOUSLY FELL OUT OF THE SKY 🚨
A Piper PA-28-180, N9342J, took off from Kansas City's Wheeler Downtown Airport at 6:46 pm on Nov 2. Watch what happens when it loses control! ADS-B shows it heading north and climbing to about 4,800 ft over southwest Iowa. At 7:33 pm, it turned southwest and slowed. Its last signal put it at 4,600 ft, about 3 miles north of Hamburg, Iowa. The plane came down in a ditch along Bluff Road in Fremont County. Both people on board died. The NTSB is investigating.
AT WHAT POINT DO WE QUESTION WHAT IS REALLY HAPPENING???
The FBI should be looking into this. The military should be looking into this. I fear it is only the beginning, and passenger planes could be next.
Part of this is real and part of it doesn't hold up. The Iowa crash happened. A Piper PA-28-180 (N9342J) went into a ditch on Bluff Road north of Hamburg, Fremont County, around 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 2. Two people died. The NTSB is leading the investigation, and as of today's reports no cause has been released. Reporters have not described any sign of foul play.
The "4th plane in 48 hours" count is the part I could not confirm. The other recent crashes I found are a Learjet 60 that came down in a Palm Beach County neighborhood on November 1 and killed nine, where the NTSB is looking at icing and a possible in-flight breakup, and a small plane that ended up in a marsh at Crisfield-Somerset Airport in Maryland on Monday evening, where the only occupant got out. None of these reports ties them together, and I found no source that lists four crashes in two days. Small aircraft crashes happen most weeks in the US, so a cluster of them in a short window is not unusual on its own.
The flight path in the post comes from ADS-B, the public position broadcast that many aircraft send, which flight-tracking sites display. It can show where a plane was and when its signal stopped, but it does not say why. The NTSB preliminary report and the Fremont County sheriff's updates are where the cause will be stated. Coverage so far is in the WOWT report on the Hamburg crash.
