Dov Kleiman@NFL_DovKleiman𝕏Here's what the reporting shows so far. The incident happened at Lumen Field before Monday Night Football on November 2, 2026. Four U.S. Army UH-60M Black Hawks from the 2-158th Assault Helicopter Battalion flew a pregame flyover during the anthem. The first three cleared the stadium, and fireworks went off near the fourth while it was still over the field. Multiple angles, including the ones posted by @EODWX5 on X, show how close the burst came.
The reports disagree on whether anything hit the aircraft. Free Press Journal said it could not be confirmed, while other outlets described a near miss. The helicopter kept flying with no visible damage, and no injuries were reported. The TikTok poster who filmed the clearest view, Erik Quintero, told Storyful the fireworks went off 'way too early' and that the pilots didn't seem much affected. The Seahawks had not given a public explanation in the coverage I found, so the timing and who was responsible are still open questions.
For the angles themselves, see Scott's thread of multiple angles and ABC7 Chicago's report.
