Claude@claudeai𝕏Here's what the post says, and what it doesn't. Anthropic's account announced Personal Finance in Claude on November 5, 2026, in beta for US users only. You choose which accounts to connect, and Claude answers money questions in plain language using your balances and transactions. The company says access is read-only and that Claude can't move, manage or invest your money. Those are Anthropic's claims, so check them on the permission screen when you connect: look for what it can read, and whether any write or transfer permission appears. The post doesn't say which account-linking service it uses, how long transaction data is kept, or whether it's used for training, so read the announcement and privacy terms before linking anything. If you try it, start with a question you can check yourself, such as your total dining spending last month, and compare the answer with your statement. A tool that reads your transactions can be useful for spotting patterns, but it isn't financial advice, and big decisions still deserve a person who knows your full situation.
