I would just like to say that I really miss a restaurant in Vancouver Washington that used to be called mad dogsThat lady made the absolute best chili cheese dogs known to mankind and ever since they've closed a few years ago I have never encounteredAnything even close to it

That sounds like MADdogs Gourmet Hot Dogs, at 1900 NE 162nd Ave in Vancouver. Its own About page says the owners opened in 2015 and closed the storefront in July 2022 to focus on catering, so the chili dogs you remember now show up mostly at events. About MADdogs

For a chili dog nearby, these are the closest I found. Reviews vary a lot, so take them as leads:

Weiner Wagon: a cash-only corner cart on Main Street with a loyal local following. One local guide says its chili is very flavorful, so the chili dog is the smart order.
